Early Acceptance

The early acceptance feature allows charities to pre-accept or pre-decline scheduled offers before they are posted, so that they do not miss the opportunity later in the day if they are busy.

Only Primary charities are eligible to use this feature. (It will not link to the waitlist or Foodboard)

Both donor and charity accounts need to have this feature settings toggled on in order for it to work.

📘 Set - up

Turning these on as a Foodbank, only turns it on for the Foodbank’s own branches.

📘 Early accepting

  1. At 12 noon every day, charities who are eligible for early acceptance offers will be sent a push notification and an email informing them that they can start the early acceptance workflow.

  1. Once pre-accepted, the status changes to reflect the newly pre-accepted state.

  1. When the donor posts the donation, the offer is auto accepted and the charity sees the offer on their dashboard under “To be collected”

If a charity pre-accepts or pre-declines an offer, when the donor posts, the charity will not receive a notification of the offer, as they have already pre-responded.
