Assign primary charity to transfer window

Useful information for food network administrators and food bank administrators

A primary charity is the default recipient of a donor branch’s offer for that day and time. The donor’s offer will be sent to the primary charity first. Then, if it cannot be collected by the primary, it will be passed on to the Waitlist charity for consideration. Once a primary charity is associated with a donor branch, that charity will likely be offered food if/when the donor creates an ad hoc donation.

Instructions

1. Log into Foodiverse and go to ‘My FoodBank Network’ → ‘Manage Member Schedules’

2. Select the relevant donor by clicking on the blue arrow next to their name.

3. Select the relevant day that you want to set up the Primary Charity for and open an existing or a new 'Transfer Window.

4. In the ‘Primary Charity Branch’ window (highlighted in green) search for the charity that you want to set up as primary.

5. 

   You can set up several charities as primary charities.

6. Click ‘Confirm’ when you are finished.

7. This will generate a notification to the charity about the assigned ‘Transfer Window’ which they will then need to approved.
