Impact Report

This report can be viewed by charity organisations, donor organisations and food network admins.

About Impact report

The impact report gives the total amount of food donated in Kgs, its conversion to meals and carbon dioxide equivalent saved from going to waste. The Impact Detail Report now includes a totals chart. The Impact Report includes a Branch Impact Summary Report and a Branch Impact Report (details).

NOTE: The Charity Impact report currently supports the Branch Impact Report details tabs only.

View as Foodbank and Network Admin

Step 1: How to find the Impact Report

  • Log into your Foodiverse account using the foodbank and network admin credentials.

  • Select Reports from the left side menu.

  • Under Reports select Impact report

  • The first tab displays the Branch Impact Summary Report, the second Tab displays the Impact Detail Report.

Step 2: How to filter the Impact Summary page to suit your search criteria

  • As a Foodbank Network Admin select User View> Food Net Admin to view all the donor orgs & donor branches in your organisation, those with memberships & the foodbanks own donor branches .

  • As a Foodbank Network Admin select User View> Member Manager or Viewer (default selection) to view the donor orgs & donor branches in your organisation that you are a designated Member Manager/Viewer (branches with memberships).

  • As a Foodbank Network Admin select User View> Org Admin to view only the Donor branches in your organisation that you have Branch Access (the foodbanks own donor branches).

  • As a Foodbank Network Admin select User View> Branch User or Viewer to view only the Donor branches in your organisation that you have Branch Access (the foodbanks own donor branches).

  • As a Foodbank Network User role, User View> Branch User or Viewer is selected by default. The User role can only view the donor branches in your organisation that you have Branch Access (the foodbanks own donor branches).

  • As a Foodbank Network User role select User View>  Member Manager or Viewer to view the donor orgs & donor branches in your organisation that you are a designated Member Manager/Viewer (branches with memberships).

  • Select the Time Period - Month (Daily) will offer a Year/Month filter and display statistics for the Month chosen by Day. (Defaults to current month)

  • Select the Time Period - Year (Monthly) will offer a Year filter and display statistics for the Year chosen by Month.

  • Select the Time Period - All Time (Yearly) will display statistics on an annual basis including current year.

  • Use the Donor Organisation filter to limit the report to a particular donor or donors.

  • Use the Donor Branch filter to limit the report to one donor branch or multiple donor branches of the donor organisation that you have chosen.

  • The Labels filter can be used to search for a reporting group.

Enter values into the filters and then click Submit in order to generate this report

Step 3: Understanding the output of the Impact Summary report

  • For the Time Period chosen the Impact Summary displays the Kilograms Donated, Equivalent Meals, Equivalent CO2 saved, Engaged charities & Engaged Donors as a bar chart showing Impact in Kilograms.

  • The Impact in Kilograms graph displays a bar chart for the Time Period chosen.

  • The Label leaderboard displays the top donor performers by Label in the Time Period.

Note: The Label leaderboard only populates for the Foodbank’s own donor branches (not donor members).

  • Engaged Donors is the count of individual donor branches that posted at least one donation in the selected time period that was successfully transferred.

  • Engaged Charities is the count of individual charities who have collected / transferred food from the selected donors in the selected time period.

  • The Download button will let you download the report in CSV format.

Hover over a cell in the chart sections to display the exact value.

View as Donor branch admin

Step 1: How to find the Impact Report

  • Log into your Foodiverse account using the donor branch login credentials.

  • Select Reports from the left side menu.

  • Under Reports select Impact report.

  • The first tab displays the Branch Impact Summary Report, the second Tab displays the Impact Detail Report.

Step 2: How to filter the Impact Summary report to suit your search criteria

  • In View Mode: select Org Admin to view all the donor branches in your organisation.

  • (Donor Branch Admins should choose Branch User or Viewer from the dropdown)

  • Select the Time Period - Year (Monthly) will offer a Year/Month filter and display statistics for the Year chosen by Month. (Defaults to current month)

  • Select the Time Period - Month (Daily) will offer a Month filter and display statistics for the Month chosen by Day.

  • Select the Time Period - All Time (Yearly) will display statistics on an annual basis including current year.

  • Use the Donor Branches filter to limit the report results to particular branches of your donor organisation.

  • Use Search bar to search and filter further by name of member of an organisation

  • The Labels filter can be used to search the reporting group.

  • Enter values into the filters and then click Submit in order to generate this report

Step 3: Understanding the output of the Impact Summary report

  • For the Time Period chosen the Impact Summary displays the Kilograms Donated, Equivalent Meals, CO2 saved, Engaged charities, Engaged Donors, a bar chart of the Impact in Kilograms and a Leader-board by Label (if any are defined for this organisation).

  • The Impact in Kilograms graph displays a bar chart for the Time Period chosen.

  • The Label leader-board displays the top donor performers by Label in the Time Period.

  • Engaged Donors is the count of individual donor branches that posted at least one donation in the selected time period that was successfully transferred.

  • Engaged Charities is the count of individual charities who have collected / transferred food from the selected donors in the selected time period.

Hover over a cell in the chart sections to display the exact value.

The Download button will let you download the report in CSV format. You can give your downloaded CSV file a description.

Your downloaded file will be queued for output. You will receive an email when the Export is complete. You can find the download file under My Profile>My Files

Click the Action button to download the file to your PC.

Branch Impact Detail Report

View as Foodbank and Network Admin

Step 1: How to find the Impact Detail Report

Log into your Foodiverse account using the foodbank and network admin credentials.

  • Select Reports from the left side menu.

  • Under Reports select Impact report.

  • Select Branch Impact Report Tab.

Step 2: How to filter the Impact Detail report to suit your search criteria

 The User View filters

  • As a Foodbank Network Admin select User View> Food Net Admin to view all the donor orgs & donor branches in your organisation, those with memberships & the foodbanks own donor branches .

  • As a Foodbank Network Admin select User View> Member Manager or Viewer (default selection) to view the donor orgs & donor branches in your organisation that you are a designated Member Manager/Viewer (branches with memberships).

  • As a Foodbank Network Admin select User View> Org Admin to view only the Donor branches in your organisation that you have Branch Access (the foodbanks own donor branches).

  • As a Foodbank Network User role select User View>  Member Manager or Viewer to view the donor orgs & donor branches in your organisation that you are a designated Member Manager/Viewer (branches with memberships).

Data Filtering

  • Select a date range from the Start date and End date filter.

  • Use the Donor Organisation filter to limit the report to a particular donor or donors. (Mandatory)

  • Use the Donor Branch filter to limit the report to particular donor branches of the donor organisation that you have chosen.

  • The Labels filter can be used to search reporting groups.

  • Having entered values into the filters, click Submit in order to generate this report.

  • The Download button will let you download the report in CSV format.

  • Hover over a cell in the totals section to highlight the equivalent cell in the main report.

  • Scroll down below the end of the Donor Report to view the Charity Impact Detail Report.

On the Branch Impact Charity report the same ‘User View’ filters are available EXCEPT Member Manager or Viewer (this filter applies to member donor branches only).

Step 1: How to find the Impact Detail Report

  • Log into your Foodiverse account using the donor branch login credentials.

  • Select Reports from the left side menu.

  • Under Reports select Impact report.

  • Select Branch Impact Report Tab.

Step 2: How to filter the Impact Summary report to suit your search criteria

The User View filters

  • As a Donor Org Admin select a User View> Org Admin to view all the donor branches in your organisation.

  • As a Donor Org Admin select a User View> Branch User or Viewer to view only the Donor branches in your organisation that you have Branch Access.

  • Log into your Foodiverse account using the charity admin or charity branch login credentials.

  • Select Reports from the left side menu.

  • Under Reports select Impact report.

  • Select Branch Impact Report Tab.

Step 2: How to filter the Charity Branch Impact Report to suit your search criteria

The User View filters

  • As a charity Org Admin select a User View> Org Admin to view all the charity branches in your organisation.

  • As a charity Org Admin select a User View> Branch User or Viewer to view only the charity branches in your organisation that you have Branch Access.

  • As a charity Org User role, User View> Branch User or Viewer is selected by default. The User role can only view the charity branches in your organisation that you have Branch Access.

Data Filtering

  • Select a date range from the Start date and End date filter.

  • Use the Charity Branch filter to select particular charity branches from the charity organisation that you have chosen.
