Donation Process

Step 1

A store creates a donation and the Primary Charity is notified of the Offer.

Step 2

After 30 minutes, if the Primary Charity hasn’t claimed the Offer, it becomes visible to all Primary Charities and any Waitlist Charities on the store’s schedule. Any of them can claim the Offer at this stage.

If the Offer is claimed by any other charity than the Primary Charity, it will no longer be available for the Primary Charity.

When the Primary Charity attempts to accept the already claimed Offer, they will be notified that the Offer has been claimed.

Step 3

Finally, if still not claimed, the Offer appears on the public Food Board.
